About the Artist

Annie Cogdal is a botanical artist that specializes in illustration and portraiture. She accepts custom art commissions and currently has work featured in shows and galleries. Her mediums include natural watercolor pigments, pencil, and ink. All materials used are archival, and are sustainably and ethically sourced.

Cogdal is based out of Chicago, and creates art with her two dogs in their home art studio. Each year she travels to different natural sites around the globe, to study and illustrate plants. Her art is informed by a desire to document and venerate the natural world.
